Born in 1987 in Thessaloniki, Greece, Vouloudi is a photographer, video artist and poet who took a giant detour from her initial education in civil engineering.
Influenced by her father, Ania’s interest in capturing small moments started early. Since childhood, she enjoyed shooting videos and documenting everyday life. She builds compositions based on her life’s findings through analog mediums, creating docufiction stories that reflect the unexpected beauty of routine.
Her style is unpretentious and low-fi, focusing on the evanescent yet familiar feeling derived from routine and dull moments. In this episode, Ania discusses her previous work, giving insight into the creative thought behind them, and highlights the meaning of ‘home’ from her perspective in the world.
