Working with salvaged and recycled materials, Carla Solheiro’s jewellery explores femininity and womanhood through scraps of electrical cables, shells, lace, among other things. When working, Carla’s work bench is a pile of random materials, a collection of things which she organically draws from to create her pieces, welding, filing and carefully combining materials into beautiful, thought provoking wearable pieces.
