Seeing Paul Kalkbrenner on the 2025 Primavera Sound Porto line-up, took us back to the uncanny, 3D rendered music video for his song "Schwer" from back in 2023.
So we thought it would be a good time to get in touch with Jovan Todorovic, the director of the video, to try to learn more about not just this particular piece, but also about his work for acts like Vaundy, Sohn, Okay Kaya, Rosie Lowe, and more.
We sent Jovan some questions, and he was kind enough to motion-capture himself talking about some of the production challenges, quirks, symbolisms and motifs all throughout his extensive career in filmmaking.
